We, initiative group of leftists from Odessa, call to proclaim the May 2 as a day of international solidarity in defense of democracy and internationalism in Ukraine

For this purpose we call leftist forces all over the world to held actions of solidarity with the liberation struggle of the working masses of Ukraine starting from the May 2.

It can be various forms of solidarity actions devoted to problems of today’s Ukraine: picket, march, movement, round table, photo exhibition etc.

Ukrainian miners protest against Kiev’s military op in ‘March of Peace’ (VIDEO)

rt.com: Around 3,000 Donbas miners – the driving force of the coal-rich region – marched through the streets of Donetsk on Wednesday, protesting against Kiev’s ongoing military operation in eastern Ukraine.

The demonstrators, who then gathered at a central square for a rally, chanted “Fascism won’t pass!” and “Donbas will not forgive!”

While some of the miners interviewed by RIA Novosti support the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, others simply reject what they refer to as the “fascist” policies of Kiev authorities.  Read more and see more videos here >>>

Clashes In Odesa Leave Dozens Dead

Radio Free Europe: More than 30 people have reportedly been killed in a fire at the labor-union building in the southern Ukrainian port city of Odesa. It was unclear how the fire started. Some reports say Molotov cocktails had been thrown at the union headquarters building. Those inside the building were said to be pro-Russian activists. More >>>
